The car is painted in the classic Verde Mantis (green) and Nero Noctis (black) colors, with a tricolor band going over the front hood and up to the top. Aside from that, both doors are emblazoned with the “Squadra Corse Anniversario” emblem. The Squadra Corse symbol can also be seen on the rear fin of the car, which extends from the air scoop to the opposing side of the rear bonnet. The vehicle features a spectacular complete carbon fiber kit with Rosso Mars (red) highlights.

The Huracan’s interior has sport seats upholstered in Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with Verde Fauns (green) stitching and four-point seat belts. In addition, the car includes an aluminum roll bar, a carbon fiber floor covering, and a carbon fiber plaque on the back firewall.

While the car keeps the same 5.2 liter V10 engine that generates 622 bhp and 565 Nm of torque, engineers have optimized the aerodynamics with new front carbon fiber flicks and a rear flap with an improved angle to maximize downforce both front and back. Mechanical grip has been greatly boosted by the employment of racing-derived shock absorbers and special tires developed in partnership with Bridgestone. The Akrapovic titanium exhaust, which improves the sound of the V10 engine, rounds off the car’s equipment.

Lower trims will have LFP battery packs from BYD, while upmarket models with bigger battery packs will use NMC battery packs from CATL. Electric vehicles are typically hefty due to the weight of the battery, and the Xiaomi SU7 reflects this with a curb weight of 1,980 kg for base versions and 2,205 kg for top-end trim. The cheaper models will hit 210 kmph, while the higher variants will reach 265 kmph.

The Xiaomi SU7 will go into production in December 2023, with deliveries starting in February 2024. Trial production has already begun at BAIC’s Beijing facility, and test vehicles are presently being manufactured on the assembly line.

As reported by CarNewsChina.com, Xiaomi, the smartphone company, has applied for a sales license for its first electric car in China, the Xiaomi SU7 sedan.

Porsche’s designers created this metallic grey tone, which is used on specific exterior and interior components depending on the model.

Porsche’s Turbo series, known for its performance, is getting more exclusivity to set it apart from other models in the brand’s lineup. Turbo editions will now have a new “Turbonite” logo, while the other models will retain the modernized version of Porsche’s iconic crest, which was initially seen some time ago.

Turbo models have had a major standing at Porsche for over five decades, symbolizing tremendous performance. The Turbo range will have a special version of the modernized crest, which will prominently feature the new Turbonite color tone rather than gold.

This metallic grey tone was created by the designers and is used on certain exterior and interior components. Porsche has stated that this distinctive differentiator will be introduced across all model lines, with the new Panamera generation leading the way, having a global premiere set for November 24, 2023.

Porsche’s color and trim experts created the Turbonite metallic tone. Future Turbo models will have Turbonite treatments on the rear lettering, daylight opening (DLO), and side window borders. Further, depending on the model series, elements such as inlays in front aprons, spokes, or aero blades in light alloy wheels may use Turbonite paints.

Turbonite is used on specified interior components such as trim strips, belt straps, and controls such as the mode switch and air conditioning control panel. The level of intricacy varies depending on the model series. When coupled with a black interior, Porsche claims that Turbonite acts as a contrasting color for seat yarn, door panel trims, instrument panels, and floor mats.

The Nevera, driven by test driver Goran Drndak, recorded a staggering high speed of 275.74 km/h (171.34 mph) in reverse.

The Rimac Nevera, an electric hypercar from Rimac Automobili, has been inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the fastest reverse speed. The Nevera, driven by test driver Goran Drndak, attained a blistering high speed of 275.74 km/h (171.34 mph) in reverse, a performance observed and validated by a Guinness World Records representative. The event broke the record at the Automotive Testing Papenburg facility in Germany, adding to Nevera’s already strong resume.

Matija Renic, Rimac’s Chief Program Engineer, disclosed the inspiration for the concept, saying, “It occurred to us during development that Nevera would probably be the world’s fastest car in reverse, but we kind of laughed it off.” The Nevera’s aerodynamics, cooling systems, and stability were not initially designed for high-speed reverse travel, therefore this bold endeavor deviated from traditional design concerns.

The Nevera had already smashed more than 20 acceleration and braking records at the German testing center, which served as the proving ground for this unprecedented performance. Renic pointed out that prototypes suggested that speeds of up to 150 mph were achievable, but the crew went into an unknown area to test the Nevera’s stability in reverse.

The test driver, Goran Drndak, described his experience, mentioning the distinct sensation of rushing backward at tremendous speed. “On the run itself, it definitely took some getting used to,” he said. “You’re facing straight out backward, watching the scenery flash away from you faster and faster, feeling your neck pulled forwards in almost the same sensation you would normally get under heavy braking.”

The unprecedented achievement of the Nevera was made possible by its ingenious drivetrain, which has four independent motors that move the car in the direction they are rotating. Due to the lack of a standard gearbox, the same motors that propelled the Nevera to a world record-breaking 256 mph forward earlier this year can now produce comparable thrust in reverse, defying aerodynamic constraints.

The Guinness World Records official formally validated the new highest speed in the reverse record, which surpassed Darren Manning’s 2001 record of 165.08 km/h in a Caterham 7 Fireblade.

Mechanically, the MC20 Notte is identical to the ordinary MC20. The biggest distinction is the use of all-black on both the exterior and the interior.

The Notte model is painted in matte black ‘Nero Essenza’ paint with matte white gold trident insignia, logos, and lettering. The wheels have also been changed for this special model, which now has 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels with matte white golden accents.

The MC20 Notte’s interior includes 6-way powered sport seats in Alcantara black/grey with yellow stitching, a trident symbol on the headrest, and a carbon fiber-inserted Alcantara sport steering wheel. Between the headrests is a special metal plaque commemorating the MC20 Notte Edition, accompanied by a ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50) signature.

The MC20 Notte retains the normal model’s performance and chassis specs, with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine delivering 621 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. It has a peak speed of 325 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.

Lamborghini’s first series production hybrid, the Revuelto, marks the start of the brand’s march towards electrification.

The Lamborghini Revuelto V12 Hybrid will be introduced in India on December 6, 2023. The Revuelto, the Aventador’s successor, inherits the V12 engine design of its predecessors but adds hybrid power for superior performance.

The Revuelto is straight away recognized as a Lamborghini, with numerous familiar design cues drawn from Lamborghini’s recent line of special edition cars. The nose is distinguished by a sharp bumper and Y-shaped LED light components. The primary headlights are recessed at the base of the bonnet. The side has sharp lines and big vents in front of the rear wheels that feed air into the engine room.

The Revuelto has a somewhat distinctive look around the back, with a high-set central exhaust placed right below the active rear wing. The taillights are also Y-shaped, with a muscular back bumper finishing off the appearance.

The interior, like its predecessor, has two seats and may be outfitted with up to three screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and the co-driver can have a specialized display located on the dashboard. Meanwhile, a portrait-style center touchscreen controls a multitude of in-car features.

The car’s engine, on the other hand, is its standout feature. The Revuelto’s V12 engine, while still displacing 6.5 liters, is an all-new powerplant that was not brought over from the Aventador. The engine has been rotated 180 degrees in the engine compartment, and it is now partnered with a new transversely mounted 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Meanwhile, the battery pack for the plug-in hybrid powertrain is housed in the former gearbox tunnel. In terms of the hybrid powertrain, two electric motors are mounted on the front axle, with a third incorporated into the gearbox to drive the back wheels. The configuration results in a total output of 1001 horsepower and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 2.5 seconds.

In India, the Revuelto is expected to cost more than Rs 8 crore (ex-showroom).

The step-through shape of the scooter increases its utility, and the tall, sleek front apron with dual-chamber LED headlights and a windshield adds an ADV-style appearance for superb visibility. The scooter is propelled by a mono-shock in the back and a telescopic fork up front.

The manufacturer is likely to launch only one model at first, with intentions to offer the remainder of its worldwide lineup in the future.

Lotus Cars, a well-known British sports car manufacturer, will formally enter the Indian market on November 9, 2023. The business, which is now controlled by Chinese manufacturer Geely, is slated to join the Indian market with a single model at first, with intentions to introduce the remainder of the lineup later. Exclusive Motors, located in New Delhi, will distribute Lotus vehicles across the country.

However, no details on which model will be the brand’s first offering in India have been announced. The company’s global lineup now consists of four models: the Emira, Eletre, Evija, and Emeya. The Emira is the company’s final internal combustion model, while the Evija is the brand’s current flagship electric supercar. Meanwhile, the Eletre is the brand’s first electric SUV, while the Emeya GT vehicle is not projected to be available until 2025.

Lotus Emira

According to rumors, the company would likely release the Emira or Eletre to the Indian market initially, with the other vehicles following suit later. The Emira’s combustion engine variant would eliminate the need for any new charging infrastructure costs and might appeal to purchasers looking for a mid-engine sports vehicle, but the Eletre would capitalize on the country’s growing desire for electric SUVs.

Lotus Eletre

The Emira is available with either an AMG-sourced 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 360 bhp and 430 Nm of torque or a bigger 3.5-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine producing 400 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The Eletre SUV, on the other hand, features a 905 horsepower dual-motor all-wheel drive electric engine with a 0-100 kmph sprint time of less than three seconds and a range of up to 600 km (WLTP).

Lotus Evija

The Evija is Lotus’ current worldwide flagship performance vehicle, and it may make its way to India at some point in the future.

Lotus plans to import its vehicles into India through the CBU channel, with pricing projected to be close to Rs 2 crore.
