The Triumph Thruxton Final Edition will be the cafe racer’s final outing. It’s available in a rich metallic paint scheme dubbed “Competition Green.”

The Triumph Thruxton will be phased out in 2024. Having said that, the British company has introduced the Thruxton Final Edition to commemorate the event. The cafe racer’s final hurrah, as the name indicates, will arrive in showrooms in Spring 2024. The Thruxton Final Edition costs £15,095, which amounts to Rs 15.32 lakh. Triumph claims that the Final Edition is a fusion of the Thruxton RS’s design and grace, paying respect to the cafe racer’s racing pedigree. Triumph has saved specific features for the Final Edition in order to separate it from the top-spec RS. One of these is a metallic paint scheme called “Competition Green,” which contrasts with black side panels and mudguards. The artist’s initials are hand-painted in gold accents on the sculpted fuel tank and seat cowl. In addition, each motorbike will come with a one-of-a-kind Final Edition engine emblem with a gold-finished surround and a ‘Final Edition’ graphic infill. The ‘Heritage’ Triumph badge on the tank and the ‘Thruxton Final Edition’ branding receive a similar treatment.

The most special feature, however, is the certificate of authenticity with the bike’s unique VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), which the Thruxton Final Edition will possess. This agreement will be signed by members of the Thruxton 1200 design team as well as Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. However, the Final Edition retains several Thruxton-specific components, like the single bullet seat, Monza-style gasoline filler cap, clip-on handlebars, anodized aluminum swingarm, and so on.

Aside from this, the company offers over 80 authentic Triumph Thruxton accessories, including a pillion set-up with seat, footrests, and passenger grab rail, as well as a unique cockpit fairing.

Engine and Hardware for the Triumph Thruxton Final Edition

At its core is a powerful 1,200cc twin-cylinder Bonneville engine designed to produce 112 Nm of maximum torque at 4,250 rpm and 103 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. Twin 310mm floating Brembo discs with M50 4-piston radial brake calipers in the front and a single 220mm disc with a Nissin 2-piston floating caliper at the rear, all equipped with ABS, provide stopping power. The brakes are set up on wheels with wire spokes and grippy Metzeler Racetec RR tires.

Triumph’s Thruxton acquired recognition in endurance competitions by taking home the top three spots in the 1969 Thruxton 500-mile event. The first production motorbike to circuit the Mountain Course at over 100 mph (160 km/h) was a limited-edition cafe racer from 1964.

Nearly three months after the spectacular debut of the Speed 400 in India, Triumph has also released its off-road twin, the Scrambler 400 X. It has an improved suspension, a head guard grille, off-road footpegs, and other improvements. The bike costs Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom).

Following the success of its sibling, the Speed 400, Triumph Motorcycles, and Bajaj Auto recently introduced the Scrambler 400 X in India. The new bike is priced at Rs 2.63 lakh ex-showroom. The Triumph motorbike will be marketed through a limited network of Triumph dealers, which will swiftly grow to more than 100 sites this fiscal year. The Scrambler bike is well-known for combining the versatility of a road bike with the off-road capabilities of a dirt bike. It has been built to handle rough terrains and soft trails thanks to its sturdy frame, long travel suspension, high ground clearance, and huge front wheel. Prospective buyers can book the Scrambler 400 X for Rs 10,000 on the Triumph India website. The Design Elements of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X

The bike is somewhat higher than its sibling, with a seat height of 835mm, for better handling. The Scrambler has a traditional appearance but has some modern characteristics. According to the company, Triumph’s current model is offered in three dual-tone color variants. These pairings include black/silver, red/black, and green/white. Triumph also offers an extra 25 optional accessories for the Scrambler X to boost its usefulness and off-road performance.

Cycle Components for the Triumph Scrambler 400 X

The hardware components of the Scrambler 400X have been slightly modified by the British bike maker to complement its off-road skills. A mono-shock with 150mm of travel on both ends is supplied, as are USD front forks. Furthermore, the braking system has a 320mm front and 230mm rear disc set on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Engine Specifications for the Triumph Scrambler 400 X

The Scrambler 400 X is propelled by the same engine that powers the Speed 400. This 398.15cc liquid-cooled engine is part of the all-new TR series of internal combustion engines. When it comes to power and torque, the bike produces 39.5bhp and 27.5Nm, respectively. Meanwhile, the gearbox installed is a 6-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch.

Features of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X

The new Scrambler 400 X, like the 400 Speed, is feature-rich and offers a long list of luxuries. Traction control that can be switched on and off, an assist clutch, ride-by-wire, semi-digital instrument control, an immobilizer, a USB-C charging port, and other features are available. The instrument panel comprises a large analog speedometer as well as a tiny LCD display with a digital tachometer, gear position indication, trip information, and a fuel gauge. The Scrambler 400 X now has a wider front mudguard, switchable ABS, a grille to protect the headlamp, and a radiator.

Price and Competitors for the Triumph Scrambler 400 X

With a retail price of Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Scrambler 400X is Rs 30,000 more costly than the Speed 400. In comparison, the Speed 400 costs Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In our native market, the Yezdi Scrambler and the Royal Enfield Scram 411 are market competitors for the freshly announced Triumph Scrambler 400 X.
