Lamborghini’s first series production hybrid, the Revuelto, marks the start of the brand’s march towards electrification.
The Lamborghini Revuelto V12 Hybrid will be introduced in India on December 6, 2023. The Revuelto, the Aventador’s successor, inherits the V12 engine design of its predecessors but adds hybrid power for superior performance.
The Revuelto is straight away recognized as a Lamborghini, with numerous familiar design cues drawn from Lamborghini’s recent line of special edition cars. The nose is distinguished by a sharp bumper and Y-shaped LED light components. The primary headlights are recessed at the base of the bonnet. The side has sharp lines and big vents in front of the rear wheels that feed air into the engine room.

The Revuelto has a somewhat distinctive look around the back, with a high-set central exhaust placed right below the active rear wing. The taillights are also Y-shaped, with a muscular back bumper finishing off the appearance.
The interior, like its predecessor, has two seats and may be outfitted with up to three screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and the co-driver can have a specialized display located on the dashboard. Meanwhile, a portrait-style center touchscreen controls a multitude of in-car features.
The car’s engine, on the other hand, is its standout feature. The Revuelto’s V12 engine, while still displacing 6.5 liters, is an all-new powerplant that was not brought over from the Aventador. The engine has been rotated 180 degrees in the engine compartment, and it is now partnered with a new transversely mounted 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Meanwhile, the battery pack for the plug-in hybrid powertrain is housed in the former gearbox tunnel. In terms of the hybrid powertrain, two electric motors are mounted on the front axle, with a third incorporated into the gearbox to drive the back wheels. The configuration results in a total output of 1001 horsepower and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 2.5 seconds.
In India, the Revuelto is expected to cost more than Rs 8 crore (ex-showroom).
