Matte Edition costs Rs 40,000 more than the standard top-spec GT Plus version.

Volkswagen has published pricing for the Virtus GT Plus Matte Edition, for which reservations were opened last month, as part of its holiday season blitz. The Virtus GT Plus Matte Edition is priced between Rs 17.62 lakh and Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and follows the Slavia Matte edition, which was unveiled only a few days earlier. Volkswagen has also added a few additional features to the Virtus and Taigun.

  1. New front-powered seats have been added to Virtus and Taigun.
  2. Both models receive festive incentives and benefits

The Virtus GT Plus Matte edition is part of the brand’s GT Edge line, which has previously seen the Deep Black Pearl Virtus and Taigun variants. The dark matte grey paint color is the most noticeable feature here. It also has aluminum pedals, cherry red leatherette upholstery, and red ambient lighting on the inside.

The distinctive matte finish is only available with the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is available with both manual and DSG automatic transmissions. It is exclusively accessible through online booking, and delivery is set to begin this month on a first-come, first-served basis. The matte variations will be offered in limited quantities.

Volkswagen has also modified the Taigun and Virtus with front-powered seats (driver and co-passenger) and footwell lights on the Topline and GT Plus trim levels of both cars. On the GT Plus models of the Taigun and Virtus, the company has additionally included a subwoofer and amplifier. These functions have lately been made available on the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq. The Virtus and Taigun models with front-powered seats, on the other hand, cost a premium ranging from Rs 19,000 to 36,000.

Volkswagen is also providing a number of deals and benefits that are only available during the festive period. This includes free vehicle check-ups, free pick-up and drop-off for specified kilometers, door-step services on periodic maintenance via Volkswagen assistance and mobile service units, and attractive discounts on service packages, extended warranties, roadside assistance, and tires.

Customers may also win guaranteed rewards on Volkswagen test drives and bookings between October 3 and November 15, 2023.
