The perks include a monetary reduction as well as an exchange offer on existing Nexon EV Prime and Max models.
Tata Motors is giving discounts on the Nexon EV Prime and EV Max. While the Nexon EV just underwent a facelift, retailers have failed to clear their current inventory of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime and Max. According to dealers, both models are now available for incentives of up to Rs 2.60 lakh. The advantages include a monetary reduction as well as an exchange offer. The savings will vary from dealer to dealer and will only be valid until December 31, 2023, or until stock is cleared.
The Tata Nexon EV Prime, which was priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom), will now be offered with a Rs 1.40 lakh cash discount, while the EV Max (priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 20.04 lakh) will receive a Rs 2.10 lakh cash reduction. Customers can also get a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus on both of these models.
On the engine front, the Nexon EV Max is powered by an electric motor that produces 141 horsepower. This results in a time of 9 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph. The car has a 40.5 kWh battery pack, giving it an ARAI-certified range of 437 km. The EV Prime, on the other hand, has a lower power output of 127 horsepower and a smaller 30.2 kWh battery pack with a 312 km range.

The SU7 car, Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle, was presented in China. It will be available in two configurations, with or without Lidar, and consumers will be able to pick between Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive. The sedan will be available in three models, with manufacturing set to begin in December 2023.
Xiaomi just unveiled its first electric car, the SU7, in China. According to HT Auto, the SU7 is an electric car that comes in two variants: one with Lidar and one without. Customers can choose between two powertrains: rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). When it is released, the electric car will be offered in three variants: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.
The RWD model will have a single electric motor on the back axle, producing 295 horsepower. The AWD variant, on the other hand, will have a greater power output of 663 horsepower. The AWD drivetrain design includes a 295 horsepower front electric motor and a 368 bhp rear electric motor.
Lower trims will have LFP battery packs from BYD, while upmarket models with bigger battery packs will use NMC battery packs from CATL. Electric vehicles are typically hefty due to the weight of the battery, and the Xiaomi SU7 reflects this with a curb weight of 1,980 kg for base versions and 2,205 kg for top-end trim. The cheaper models will hit 210 kmph, while the higher variants will reach 265 kmph.
The Xiaomi SU7 will go into production in December 2023, with deliveries starting in February 2024. Trial production has already begun at BAIC’s Beijing facility, and test vehicles are presently being manufactured on the assembly line.
As reported by CarNewsChina.com, Xiaomi, the smartphone company, has applied for a sales license for its first electric car in China, the Xiaomi SU7 sedan.
The application contained information on the car’s numerous specifications, and it has been revealed that Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Ltd (BAIC) will handle the EV’s contract manufacture. Previously, the electric car was referred to as MS11.

The electric vehicle was created in partnership with NISMO Racing and Polyphony Digital Inc. a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Nissan showcased its latest electric concept car, the Hyper Force, at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. The Hyper Force is the final of five electric concept cars, including the Hyper Punk, Hyper Adventure, Hyper Urban, and Hyper Tourer. While there have been no official remarks from the brand, the idea might showcase an all-electric version of the Nissan GT-R, with certain design aspects resembling the current R35 GT-R. Aside from that, the EV was created in partnership with NISMO Racing and Polyphony Digital Inc., a division of Sony Interactive Entertainment and the creators of the Gran Turismo video game.
The Hyper Force concept has a distinctive appearance with many cuts and folds. The fascia has headlights joined by a lightbar, as well as a big bumper that extends further away from the air intake area. With its muscular-looking rear fenders and sloping roofline, the EV’s silhouette bears some resemblance to the departing Nissan GT-R. Other visual aspects include lightweight carbon forged wheels and taillamps reminiscent of the previous GT-R, as well as a large rear spoiler and diffuser.
On the interior, things become much more fascinating, with several screens surrounding the steering wheel and panels on the passenger side that extend towards the seats. A customized helmet allows the car to be operated in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) modes. This implies that drivers may play games like racing against the clock or against other online racers while driving. Another intriguing element is the eye-catching LED strips that run through the dashboard and door sills. The color of the inside lighting varies according to the car’s two drive modes: red in ‘R’ (Racing) mode and blue in ‘GT’ (Grand Touring) mode. Aside from that, the automobile has LIDAR-based automated driving.
The rear portion has lights identical to those featured on the previous Nissan GT-R, as well as a big diffuser and spoiler.
On the engine front, Nissan has said that the car would have a maximum output of 1341 horsepower but has not released any further data such as the number of motors it will employ. The electric vehicle will use a solid-state battery and the e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology.

Kia’s newest concept car is built on the ‘Opposites United‘ design philosophy, and it combines SUV features with a fastback body shape.
Kia marked EV Day 2023 by revealing two all-new EV concepts as it accelerates its electrification drive. The first was the new EV3 concept, which previewed a future SUV to compete with the likes of the MG ZS EV, while the second was an all-new sedan, the EV4. The EV4 concept previews the brand’s first dedicated born-electric car, with the company’s EV lineup now limited to SUVs.
The EV4 Concept, which is expected to go into production by 2025, borrows Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy from its born-electric series for usage in a sedan body type. The result is a design that is sure to divide opinion, combining the upright design characteristics of SUVs with the more three-box form of a typical sedan.
To begin, the Concept’s front fascia lacks drama, with smooth surfaces and gentle contours. The bonnet is separated from the front bumper by a narrow black trim piece, and the huge central air dam does not appear to be functioning. A closer look reveals vertically stacked headlights on either corner of the fascia, as well as paneling around the lower edge of the bumper.
The EV4 has the silhouette of a fastback, with a sharply slanted rear pillar that flows all the way to the integrated boot-lid spoiler. There’s some paneling over the substantial wheel arches, as well as around the lower doors. The curved roofline and upswept window line enhance the four-door coupe appearance, while the black finished trim on the C pillar enhances the floating roof image.
The broad sloping curving rear windscreen, vertically oriented tail lights, and conspicuous usage of cladding on the lower bumper characterize the rear.
The cockpit has a minimalist design approach, with twin displays atop the dashboard giving all pertinent vehicle and infotainment information to the driver. Other distinctive stylistic elements include pin-style air vents that take up little space and air-conditioning controls that can be stowed when not in use. The cabin also makes considerable use of materials on the door and dashboard, with the upper and power cabins divided by a distinctive ornamental element.
Kia did not give any specifics about the EV4 concept’s engine, although it is believed to be based on the company’s existing e-GMP platform.

During the third quarter of 2023, BYD sold 4,31,603 pure electric cars globally, a substantial 23 percent increase over the same period the previous year.
In an unexpected turn of events, Chinese automaker BYD, backed by famous investor Warren Buffet, is getting closer to challenging Tesla’s dominance in the worldwide electric vehicle (EV) market. According to Bloomberg, BYD sold 4,31,603 pure electric cars globally during the third quarter of 2023, a remarkable 23 percent increase over the same period last year. This record puts BYD just 3,456 sales behind Tesla, which delivered 4,35,059 vehicles over the same period.
This data implies that if BYD maintains its progress into the fourth quarter, it might overtake Tesla, signaling a significant shift in the EV production scene. This would be the first time Tesla has ceded its status as the leading EV maker since dethroning Nissan in 2019. However, there are several elements to consider that might influence this race, such as potential overnight price cuts in the US and Tesla’s newly released Model 3 makeover, which could damage sales and perhaps prevent BYD from taking the lead in the following quarter.
It is worth noting that Tesla presently sells only four models, with the more economical Model 3 sedan and Model Y crossover accounting for nearly 96.3 percent of all deliveries. BYD, on the other hand, has a diverse variety of EVs, ranging from the Dolphin hatchback to numerous crossovers and sedans. BYD also produces plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). BYD shipped 3,90,491 PHEVs globally in the third quarter, increasing its total EV and PHEV sales to 8,22,094 vehicles.
Whether or not BYD manages to overtake Tesla in the near future, the company has unquestionably cemented its place as China’s premier automobile brand. BYD surpassed Volkswagen in first-quarter sales earlier this year, a position the latter had held since at least 2008. Although the majority of BYD’s sales are still in China, the business is growing in Europe, Australia, and other worldwide markets. Notably, the United States is still a vital market in which BYD has yet to establish a big footprint.

According to a report by the Economic Times, the electric car manufacturer VinFast Auto, which is located in Vietnam and is thought of as Tesla’s competition, intends to establish a production facility in India. Last month, VinFast Auto became the third-most valuable automaker in the world.
According to the report, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer may establish a facility in either Gujarat or Tamil Nadu.
The discussions are still in the early stages, but VinFast Auto is eager to expand into India, according to the report, which cited sources. However, it is unclear whether VinFast intends to export or if the new production operation would just service the Indian market.
If VinFast Auto follows through on its investment plans, it will be the first Vietnamese carmaker to establish a presence in India.
VinFast Auto surpassed Tesla and Toyota to become the world’s third-largest carmaker by market capitalization last month.
With its first results after entering the market in August, VinFast’s revenue over doubled in the second quarter due to increased deliveries to domestic clients.
On its Nasdaq debut, VinFast received a valuation of around $85 billion, surpassing that of long-standing US carmaker Ford.
VinFast’s sales increased 131.2% to $327 million in the second quarter. Its net loss for the quarter was $526.7 million, down 8.2% from the same period the previous year.
According to an 18 September filing, VinFast, funded by Vietnam’s richest man, Pham Nhat Vuong, has sold a total of 18,700 electric vehicles, predominantly in Vietnam, as of June 30. It sold 7,100 vehicles to GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Co., a Vietnamese cab firm of which Vuong owns 95%.
Bloomberg news agency reports that VinFast intends to ship its first electric vehicles to Europe in the fourth quarter. The company started this year by sending its first automobiles to the US.

The Micra EV will have similar foundations to the future Renault 5 EV and the Alpine model.
Nissan has unveiled the 20-23, a brand-new city electric vehicle concept. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Nissan’s European design center in Paddington, London, this is effectively a glimpse of the following-generation Micra.
By 2026, the Micra EV will be in production.
It will be supported by the CMF-BEV platform from Nissan.
Will incorporate design elements from previous Micra versions.
The 20-23 concept, according to the automaker, honors both Nissan’s involvement in the Formula E racing series and its “heritage of bold hatchbacks.”
A city-based hatchback with race-spec
Makoto Uchida, the company’s president and CEO, introduced the concept in front of Nissan Design Europe’s (NDE) offices. The location in the heart of London was selected to emphasize the 20-23’s positioning as a “sporty urban” idea. The NDE team was given free rein to create a vehicle with “no restrictions,” and the end result is a design that is obviously race-inspired. It has massive front and back diffusers, a rear wing designed for touring cars, oversized wheel arches, and ultra-low-profile racing tires.
The roof scoop, racing numbers, Lamborghini-style scissor doors, and air-channeling louvers are a few further highly imaginative design elements that, according to the company, maintain “Nissan’s tradition of bringing eye-catching playfulness to the world of hatchbacks and city cars.”
Nissan’s electric Micra successor, scheduled to begin production in 2026, can be seen best via the 20-23’s racy exterior. It would be constructed on the same CMF-BEV platform that Alliance partner Renault uses for its own Renault 5 and Alpine A290 sporty hatchbacks.
The black ‘floating’ roof and two-piece circular LED light clusters are two signals present in the side profile picture that are carried over to this idea. Even though the 20-23 concept omitted the actual car’s rear doors, the two vehicles have a similar profile and dimensions.
The concept’s interior is far less likely to be used in the final product because it was created as a “futuristic interpretation of a racing car’s bare functionality.”
To get to their deep bucket seats, the driver and passenger must climb over foam-covered brace bars. In place of a steering wheel, the driver holds a yoke-style device with a variety of switches and buttons. Paddles are located behind the yoke to control the performance of the electric motors and regenerative brakes.
Production information for the Next-gen Micra
The all-electric Micra will be made alongside the Renault 5 at the French automaker’s ElectriCity production facility in northern France and will have the same power and range numbers as its sibling (134hp front-mounted engine and 400km range).
Nissan’s presence in India
Nissan used to sell the Micra in India until a few years ago, but the company now only offers the Magnite SUV, which will soon add an AMT gearbox to its lineup of available powertrains.

The South Korean automaker, Hyundai Motor India, has recently released the first design render of its forthcoming micro-SUV, the Exter. With this design render, the company provided a glimpse of what the new SUV may look like. Taking inspiration from the design render, an artist has created a full design render of this forthcoming SUV. The video rendering of the new Hyundai Exter also shows the upcoming car compared to its soon-to-be biggest rival, the Tata Punch.
Hyundai Exter Video – First Look Revealed (Review)
The video rendering of the Hyundai Exter has been shared on YouTube via Bagrawala Designs on their channel. At the beginning of the video, glimpses of the front and rear of the Exter are shown, followed by the entire car. We can note that the artist has incorporated the front fascia design from the render released by Hyundai. As for the rear, it appears that the artist has taken design inspiration from the spy shots of the car that we have seen so far. Another one of the major talking points of this rendered video is that the artist has used the body of the Exter’s elder sibling, the Hyundai Venue. However, in reality, the Exter will be a little smaller than the Venue.
Hyundai Exter Back (Boot) Look Tail Light
After the solo rendering of the Hyundai Exter, the artist has also created a render of the vehicle next to a Tata Punch as well. The two cars can be seen standing next to each other, giving us a hint of what they could look like in the coming months. It is to be noted that as the Exter in this video uses a Hyundai Venue’s body, the overall design could differ in real life, but for the most part, the size of the Exter will be similar to that of Tata’s most popular micro-SUV, the Punch.
Hyundai Exter Launch Date June 2023 Price Rs 6-10 Lacs
For those who are unaware, the South Korean automaker is planning to launch the Exter in June 2023. The model will take the position as the brand’s most affordable SUV and will be priced in the range of Rs 6-10 lakh. According to reports, the company could be offering the model with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that can generate 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The standard gearbox offered will be a 5-speed manual, while a 5-speed AMT may also be provided as an option. The higher variants of the vehicle might also come with the option of a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is already offered in the Venue.
Hyundai Exter Front Look LED DRLs
The Exter will reportedly serve as a model for the entire globe, and as a result, the company has been putting it through rigorous testing. Many individuals believe that Hyundai might provide traction-based features like terrain modes to increase the vehicle’s capability, as the vehicle was recently spotted testing in the snow as well. If Hyundai decides to include these features in the Exter, then it will become the most affordable micro-SUV on the market with these features. Along with the Tata Punch, the Exter will be up against the compact SUV C3 from French automaker Citroen and lesser-equipped versions of the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
