The BMW i7 M70 xDrive will be imported as a fully assembled unit.
BMW India has released its first completely electric M-badged car in India, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive, which costs Rs 2.50 crore (ex-showroom, India). The M70 xDrive is based on the i7 xDrive60, which is presently available in India and gets the M treatment, additional power, and a slew of stylistic enhancements over the i7 xDrive60.

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive retains its large illuminated grille with vertical slats, split LED headlights with DRLs, flush-fitting door handles, slender LED tail lamps, and dual-tone exterior paint finish on the outside. Then there’s the M emblem on the grille and other M-specific features like side skirts, front side panels, ORVMs, and a rear spoiler; the M70 also rides on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels.
In terms of features, the M70 is similar to the standard i7. The i7 M70 features a twin-screen setup for the infotainment and instrument display, multi-zone climate control, gesture control, wireless charging, a 36-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system, a 31.3-inch retractable infotainment screen, and 5.5-inch touchscreen control panels on the rear doors. Additionally, illuminated M door sills, M Merino Leather trim in Black or Atlas Grey upholstery, M leather steering wheel, and M-specific footrest are included to emphasize the luxury sedan’s dynamic personality.
It uses the same 101.7 kWh battery pack as the i7 xDrive60, but its overall power increases to 650 bhp and 1,015 Nm of peak torque. It claims to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, which is a full second faster than a regular car. The top speed is 250 kilometers per hour. It has a range of 560 km (WLTP) and can be charged from 10% to 80% in 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC fast charger.
