Kia Sorento: Launch on September 4, 2026
The Kia Sorento will be the first major launch of September and will become Kia India's new flagship ICE model. It will also be the company's first hybrid and first three-row ICE SUV in India.
The Sorento will be offered with two powertrain options. Its 1.6-litre four-cylinder strong-hybrid powertrain produces 238hp and 380Nm, while the 2.0-litre diesel produces 202hp and 441Nm. The hybrid version will be available with all-wheel drive, making it a particularly interesting option in this segment. Both engines are expected to be paired with automatic transmissions.
The SUV is expected to be offered in six- and seven-seat configurations, making it suitable for larger families. Kia has already opened bookings for the Sorento.
In terms of design, the SUV gets Kia's signature Tiger Nose grille, large vertical LED headlamps with Y-shaped DRLs, LED fog lamps and a prominent roof spoiler. Inside, it gets a connected display setup, likely comprising two 12.3-inch screens. Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift: Launch on September 5, 2026
Just a day after the Sorento, Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Baleno facelift on September 5.
The second-generation Baleno was introduced in 2022 and is now due for a mid-life update. The facelift is expected to bring changes mainly to the exterior design and equipment rather than a major mechanical overhaul.
The front end is expected to receive a redesigned grille with a horizontal element connecting the headlights, along with a revised bumper. Spy images have also indicated that the front fog lamps could be deleted. New alloy wheels are expected on the side, while the rear could receive a redesigned bumper. The tail-lamps are expected to remain largely unchanged.
Inside, the Baleno facelift is expected to retain the existing 9-inch touchscreen, although Maruti could update the upholstery and add new features.
The mechanical package is also expected to remain familiar. The Baleno will continue with its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 90hp, available with a five-speed manual and five-speed AMT. The CNG version will produce 77.5hp and is expected to remain available with a five-speed manual gearbox.

BMW 7 Series Facelift: Launch on September 11, 2026
BMW will launch the facelifted 7 Series in India on September 11, bringing updated styling, a heavily revised cabin and upgraded powertrains.
BMW has not yet confirmed the exact India-spec variant lineup, but the current 7 Series range in India consists of the 740i petrol and 740d diesel.

BMW introduces its new Panoramic iDrive setup, consisting of a full-width projection display at the base of the windscreen, a 17.9-inch central touchscreen and a 14.6-inch passenger display. The cabin also gets a new four-spoke steering wheel, updated ambient lighting and BMW Operating System X.

BMW i7 Facelift: Launch on September 11, 2026
The BMW i7 facelift will arrive alongside the updated 7 Series on September 11.
The biggest mechanical change is the introduction of a larger 112.4kWh battery, replacing the previous 101.7kWh unit. The international-spec i7 xDrive50 now produces 455hp and 660Nm, while the range-topping i7 M70 xDrive produces 680hp and 1,100Nm. BMW has also improved charging performance.
The i7 gets the same exterior updates as the facelifted 7 Series, including the redesigned illuminated kidney grille, split LED headlights, revised bumpers and new tail-lamps.
Inside, it receives BMW's new Panoramic iDrive system with the 17.9-inch central screen, 14.6-inch passenger display and full-width Panoramic Vision display.

Both versions use a 113kWh battery and dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The standard Cayenne Electric produces 442hp and 835Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.8 seconds. Its claimed WLTP range is 542km, while the top speed is electronically limited to 230kph.
The Turbo Electric takes performance to another level, producing a massive 1,156hp and 1,500Nm with Launch Control. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 2.5 seconds, reach an electronically limited 260kph and deliver a claimed WLTP range of 537km.
The Cayenne Electric retains the familiar SUV silhouette but gets a closed-off front grille, battery-cooling vents and a full-width rear LED light bar with illuminated Porsche lettering.
Inside, the electric Cayenne gets a 14.5-inch curved touchscreen, digital driver's display and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display. Other features include eight-way electrically adjustable front seats, four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging.
