Skoda has launched the facelifted Slavia in India at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), going all the way to Rs 18.84 lakh. The big story is not the new bumpers. It is a new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 1.0 TSI, a 360-degree camera and a segment-first rear seat massage function, all at a starting price that now undercuts the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Virtus.
Skoda Slavia facelift price list: all variants (ex-showroom)
The 2026 Slavia comes in six variants: Classic, Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Here is the full launch price list as reported on launch day, 6 October 2026.
| Variant | 1.0 TSI MT | 1.0 TSI 8AT | 1.5 TSI 7DCT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | Rs 9.99 lakh | - | - |
| Classic Plus | Rs 10.99 lakh | Rs 12.49 lakh | - |
| Signature | Rs 13.94 lakh | Rs 14.94 lakh | - |
| Sportline | Rs 14.34 lakh | Rs 15.34 lakh | - |
| Prestige | Rs 15.89 lakh | Rs 16.89 lakh | Rs 18.59 lakh |
| Monte Carlo | - | Rs 17.29 lakh | Rs 18.84 lakh |
The cheapest automatic is now the Classic Plus 8AT at Rs 12.49 lakh, which is where most city buyers should start looking. If you want the 150 PS 1.5 TSI, you have to stretch to the Prestige or Monte Carlo, at Rs 18.59 lakh and above.
What is new on the 2026 Slavia
Design
The front gets revised L-shaped LED DRLs that double as indicators, a new bumper with a carbon-fibre-look insert and LED fog lamps with a cornering function. At the rear, a carbon-look strip links segmented LED tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators. New 16-inch dual-tone alloys complete the update, and the Monte Carlo gets its usual blacked-out detailing.
Cabin and features
- 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- Rear seat massage function, which Skoda calls a segment first
- Powered and ventilated front seats, single-pane sunroof, wireless charging and automatic climate control
- 360-degree camera and front parking sensors, a real help in tight Indian parking
On higher variants, the new 10.1-inch touchscreen already runs wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. If you want apps like YouTube on that screen while parked, or are upgrading an older Slavia with wired CarPlay, the K713A CarPlay video box plugs into the USB port and adds Play Store apps, with no wiring changes.
Engines and the new 8-speed automatic
Power figures are unchanged. The 1.0 TSI makes 115 PS and 178 Nm, and now pairs with either a 6-speed manual or the new 8-speed torque converter automatic that replaces the old 6-speed AT. Skoda says the extra ratios improve fuel efficiency by about 4%. Claimed figures are 19.76 kmpl for the 1.0 TSI manual, 19.50 kmpl for the 1.0 TSI automatic and 18.79 kmpl for the 1.5 TSI DSG, as reported by Autocar Professional and 91wheels. The 1.5 TSI keeps 150 PS, 250 Nm and the 7-speed DCT.

Ownership tips for new Slavia buyers
Sedans with light beige cabins pick up dust and crumbs fast. A cordless Storm 3 V2.0 car vacuum handles seat gaps and the boot, while a 1200 GSM microfiber towel and a wax-infused DustMag duster keep the dual-tone paint clean between washes.
Turbo petrols are sensitive to tyre pressure for both mileage and grip. Keep a digital auto-cut tyre inflator in the boot, or step up to the VoltX jump starter with inflator if the car will sit unused for long stretches. For a fresh cabin, the MISTIQUE car perfume lasts around 60 days.
