Hero MotoCorp launched the Destini 110 Classique Edition on 30 October 2026 at Rs 76,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is a styling special: two dual-tone matt colours and retro-style graphics, with the standard Destini's mechanicals carried over.
What is the Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition?
Think of it as the regular Destini 110 in festive-season clothes. Hero has added two new dual-tone colour schemes, Matt Goldfish Silver with Light Industrial Grey and Matt Aries Brown, each with contrasting inner panels. New stripes run across the front handle cover and side panels, the mirrors are colour-matched, and the seat is colour-coordinated. A 3D Classique Edition emblem and branded rim tape finish the look.
Reports on the launch say no new features or mechanical changes come with the edition. You still get the LED projector headlamp, a digital-analogue instrument cluster, Hero's i3S idle stop-start, a 785 mm seat that Hero calls the longest in its segment, 19 litres of under-seat storage with a boot lamp, and a front compartment with a mobile charging provision.

How much more does it cost than the standard Destini 110?
Hero's own Destini 110 page lists an ex-showroom range of Rs 72,000 to Rs 79,000, and the standard scooter was launched at Rs 72,000 in September 2025. Prices vary by city, and BikeWale's averaged listings show the VX and ZX variants above the Classique's Rs 76,400, so the edition sits in the middle of the family. Check the exact on-road quote with your dealer, since insurance and registration differ by state.
Engine and specs
The Classique uses the Destini's 110.9 cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine with a CVT. Hero's page lists 6 kW (about 8 bhp) at 7,250 rpm and 8.7 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Other specs from Hero: 5.3 litre fuel tank, 12 inch wheels at both ends, 770 mm seat height and 162 mm ground clearance. Hero's 56.2 kmpl figure is a claimed ARAI number; BikeWale's owner-reported figure is around 48 kmpl, which is closer to what you should plan for.
Destini 110 Classique vs Activa 110 vs Jupiter 110
Here is how the Classique stacks up against India's two best-known 110cc scooters. Activa and Jupiter prices are the entry variants, ex-showroom Delhi, as listed by Autocar India on 30 October 2026.
| Spec | Destini 110 Classique | Honda Activa 110 (STD) | TVS Jupiter 110 (Drum) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ex-showroom price | Rs 76,400 (Delhi) | Rs 75,958 (Delhi) | Rs 73,400 (Delhi) |
| Engine | 110.9 cc | 109.51 cc | 113.3 cc |
| Power | About 8 bhp (6 kW) at 7,250 rpm | 7.88 bhp at 8,000 rpm | 7.91 bhp at 6,500 rpm |
| Torque | 8.7 Nm | 9.05 Nm | 9.2 Nm (9.8 Nm with iGo Assist on SmartXonnect trims) |
| Kerb weight | 114 kg | 105 kg | 105 kg |
| Fuel tank | 5.3 litres | 5.3 litres | 5.1 litres |
| Under-seat storage | 19 litres | Not verified | 33 litres |
| Wheels (front/rear) | 12 inch / 12 inch alloy | 12 inch / 10 inch | Steel on Drum; alloy from Drum Alloy |
| Headlamp | LED projector | Halogen on STD, LED from DLX | Bulb on Drum, LED from SmartXonnect |
The takeaway: the Classique is the most expensive of the three at the entry point, but it is a limited styling edition with LED lighting and alloy wheels, while the Activa STD and Jupiter Drum are basic trims. A fairer match is the Jupiter Drum Alloy at Rs 78,000 or the Activa DLX at Rs 86,360 (both Delhi, Autocar India).
Which 110cc scooter should you buy?
Buy the Destini Classique if you want looks and comfort
You want something that stands out in the parking lot, with a long seat for a pillion and LED lights as standard. You accept a heavier 114 kg scooter.
Buy the Activa 110 if you want resale and the lightest build
Honda's Activa weighs 105 kg, has the strongest brand pull and, at the top, adds keyless operation, a TFT display and a USB Type-C port. The base STD is plain, so budget for a higher variant if you want LED and alloys.
Buy the Jupiter 110 if you carry a lot
The Jupiter's 33 litres of under-seat storage is far more than the Destini's 19 litres, and its SmartXonnect trims add Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. It also has the highest torque of the three.
Make your new scooter road-ready
A new scooter is a good time to set up a few small things. A Autofy Heavy Duty 4 digit helmet lock (Rs 289) keeps your helmet safe when you park. If your scooter uses an H4 type bulb, check your model first and follow local rules before fitting the Autofy NightHawk 40W H4 LED headlight bulb for bikes and scooters (Rs 999), which gives brighter night visibility. For navigation, the Autofy Motoplay 5 inch waterproof bike navigation CarPlay screen (Rs 8,499) mounts on the handlebar.
Keep the matt paint looking fresh with the Autofy DustMag duster for car and bike (Rs 699) for daily dust and an Autofy 1200 GSM microfiber towel (Rs 379) for gentle wash-downs. Matt finishes need soft materials, so avoid abrasive polish. Households that also own a car can use the Autofy Sonic auto-cut tyre inflator (Rs 999) from the car's 12V socket; it comes with adapters for bikes, so it can top up scooter tyres too.
