We went through the current variant lists of every likely candidate under Rs 15 lakh and picked out the cheapest variant that actually carries ADAS, so you know exactly which trim to ask the dealer for.
All prices below are ex-showroom New Delhi from CarDekho variant lists checked on 13 October 2026, cross-checked with CarWale where available. Prices move often, and your on-road figure will be higher once RTO, insurance and accessories are added.
Which is the cheapest car with ADAS in India in 2026?

What is ADAS?
ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. It is a set of features that use a front radar, a windscreen camera, or both, to watch the road and either warn you or step in with braking or steering. Think of it as a second pair of eyes, not a second driver.
Level 1 vs Level 2 ADAS
- Level 1: the car helps with either braking/speed or steering, one at a time. The Kia Sonet GTX Plus is a Level 1 example: it can brake for you and nudge you back into lane, but it does not get radar adaptive cruise.
- Level 2: the car can manage speed and steering together, for example adaptive cruise control plus lane keep or lane centring. The driver must still hold the wheel and watch the road at all times.
- Nothing on sale in India is self-driving. Level 3 and above (hands off, eyes off) is not offered on any car in this price band.
The functions that matter most
- Autonomous emergency braking (AEB): brakes automatically if a collision with a vehicle ahead looks likely. This is the single most useful function.
- Adaptive cruise control (ACC): holds a set gap to the car ahead. Stop and go versions can come to a halt and pull away again in traffic; most budget cars in this list do not confirm stop and go on manual variants.
- Lane keep assist and lane centring: gentle steering input to keep you within painted lane markings.
- High beam assist: dips your headlights for oncoming traffic automatically.
ADAS cameras need to see the road clearly, so good lighting helps more than you might think. If your car still runs dim halogen bulbs, a bright 6000K LED headlight upgrade is a cheap way to improve night visibility for you and the camera alike. Always check that any upgrade is legal and correctly aimed.
The 7 cheapest ADAS cars under Rs 15 lakh, model by model
1. Honda Amaze ZX: Rs 9.39 lakh
Honda's compact sedan brought Honda Sensing to the sub-Rs 10 lakh space. Only the top ZX trim gets it (ZX CVT costs Rs 10 lakh). You get collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, lead car departure alert and auto high beam. Low-speed follow is not listed for the Amaze.
2. Maruti Baleno Alpha (O): Rs 9.50 lakh
The 2026 Baleno facelift made headlines as the cheapest hatchback with Level 2 ADAS. Rushlane's variant breakdown says it is reserved for the Alpha (O) trim, priced at Rs 9.50 lakh for the manual and Rs 9.99 lakh for the AMT. Functions include adaptive cruise, lane keeping, lane departure alert, sway warning, forward collision warning and AEB. Whether the cruise has stop and go is not confirmed on the pages we checked.
3. Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 L: Rs 12.03 lakh
The XUV 3XO is still the most affordable SUV with Level 2 ADAS. The AX5 L turbo manual brings adaptive cruise, AEB, forward collision warning, lane keep, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist. The AX5 L automatic is Rs 13.28 lakh. Long highway runs are where this pack shines, and a VoltX jump starter with a 150 PSI inflator in the boot is good insurance on those trips.
4. Honda City V: Rs 13.51 lakh
In the City, ADAS starts on the V trim (Rs 14.51 lakh for the V CVT), so you do not have to buy the top ZX. The suite mirrors the Amaze: AEB, adaptive cruise, lane keep, road departure mitigation and auto high beam, now in a bigger, more comfortable sedan.
5. Kia Sonet GTX Plus: Rs 13.75 lakh
The Sonet's ADAS is Level 1 and is limited to the GTX Plus and X-Line automatics. It has forward collision avoidance, lane keep and lane following assist, lane departure warning, high beam assist and leading vehicle departure alert, but no radar adaptive cruise.
6. Tata Nexon Fearless Plus A: Rs 13.77 lakh
Tata added ADAS to the Nexon through the 'A' versions of the Fearless Plus PS DCA. The camera-based suite covers AEB, forward collision warning, lane keep, lane departure warning, lane centring and traffic sign recognition. Pair it with a large touchscreen and, if your car has wired CarPlay, a K713A wireless video box to cut the cable clutter.
7. Hyundai Venue HX10: Rs 14.68 lakh
The new-generation Venue gets Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS on the top HX10 trim only (turbo DCT from Rs 14.68 lakh, diesel AT from Rs 15.65 lakh). It is the only car on this list with confirmed smart cruise with stop and go, plus AEB, lane keep assist and driver attention warning.
Just above Rs 15 lakh: worth knowing
| Model | Cheapest ADAS variant | Ex-showroom | ADAS |
|---|---|---|---|
| MG Astor | Savvy Pro CVT | Rs 15.30 lakh | Level 2 |
| Honda Elevate (facelift) | ZX (MT) | Rs 15.39 lakh | ADAS suite (low speed follow on CVT) |
| Hyundai Verna | HX8 Turbo | Rs 16.34 lakh | Level 2 |
| Renault Duster | Iconic 1.3 Turbo | Rs 16.99 lakh | Level 2 |
| Kia Seltos | HTX A | Rs 17.02 lakh | Level 2 |
| Maruti Victoris | ZXi Plus AT | Rs 17.34 lakh | Level 2 |
| Tata Curvv | Accomplished X Plus DCT | Rs 18.50 lakh | Level 2 |
No ADAS yet: the new Tata Aeris sedan and the Tata Punch facelift do not list ADAS in their launch reports. The 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift only adds select Level 1 rear radar functions (blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, safe exit warning), with no AEB, according to ZigWheels. The Kia Syros offers Level 2 ADAS on its top trim, but we could not confirm which 2026 variant carries it, so we left it out of the table.
What ADAS does and does not do on Indian roads
ADAS is tuned for clear lanes and predictable traffic, and Indian roads are often neither. Be realistic about what to expect.

A few simple habits help. Keep the windscreen area in front of the camera and the radar panel in the grille clean; parking under a waterproof GLORY car cover (we list fits for SUVs such as the Tata Harrier) keeps dust and bird droppings off the sensors. Inside, a quick pass with the Storm 2 cordless vacuum keeps the dashboard and windscreen base free of dust that ends up on the glass. And if you want a calmer cabin for long cruise-control runs, an ELIXIR vent perfume is an easy add.
- Cheapest ADAS car: Honda Amaze ZX at Rs 9.39 lakh ex-showroom.
- Cheapest ADAS hatchback: Maruti Baleno Alpha (O) at Rs 9.50 lakh, Level 2.
- Cheapest ADAS SUV: Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 L at Rs 12.03 lakh, Level 2.
- Kia Sonet is Level 1 only; Hyundai Venue HX10 is the only pick with confirmed stop and go cruise.
- ADAS is a driver aid, not autopilot, and works best on well-marked highways.
